Untamed Wilderness: An 8-Day Qilian Mountains Self-Drive Odyssey

In the heart of Northwest China lies the Qilian Mountains, a colossal range stretching over a thousand kilometers between Qinghai and Gansu. For centuries, nomadic tribes have revered these peaks as the "Heavenly Mountains." More than just a geographical barrier, the Qilian range is the lifeblood of the Hexi Corridor and a silent witness to the clashing of civilizations along the ancient Silk Road.

While most travelers stick to the high-speed arteries connecting Zhangye, Jiayuguan, and Dunhuang, we invite you to take the road less traveled. We dive deep into the hinterlands, exploring uncharted river valleys and hidden grottos. From neon-colored danxia landforms and sacred glaciers to lonely watchtowers and vast alpine meadows, this journey is a refreshing deep dive into the extraordinary.
