To further showcase the ecological and scenic beauty of the Dunhuang UNESCO Global Geopark and promote the high-quality development of the Greater Dunhuang Cultural Tourism Economic Zone, the Dunhuang Municipal Committee Publicity Department, Dunhuang Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and Dunhuang Yardang Scenic Area Service Center are jointly organizing the "Magnificent Dunhuang · Mysterious Yardang" National Photography Exhibition, now open for submissions nationwide.

II. Submission Themes
Entries should capture Dunhuang’s historical culture, natural ecology, tourism landscapes, urban scenery, intangible cultural heritage, local cuisine, folk customs, and special events, with a focus on the Dunhuang Yardang UNESCO Global Geopark.

From now until August 20, 2025
IV. Eligibility
Open to photographers, photography enthusiasts, and tourists nationwide.
V. Submission Requirements
Equipment: Digital submissions only (cameras, smartphones, etc.), but must ensure clarity and quality.
Format:
Photos: Single or group submissions (4–8 images per group). Each image must be 5MB–10MB in JPG format.
Videos: Short videos (≤5 mins) or micro-short films (≤10 mins). Must be clear, without watermarks, logos, or distortions. Resolution ≥1920×1080, file size ≤2GB (landscape or portrait).
Creative Guidelines:
Photos may be color or B&W.
No heavy editing (only basic adjustments like brightness, contrast, and saturation allowed). No composites or AI-generated content.
During the submission period, members of provincial photographers associations can enter Dunhuang Yardang Geopark for free (with membership card) for shooting.

VII. Judging & Awards
Selection Process:
Fair and transparent judging in August 2025. Results will be announced on official websites, WeChat, and media platforms.

Grand Prize (1): ¥10,000
First Prize (6): ¥5,000 each
Second Prize (20): ¥1,000 each
Selected Works (73): ¥200 each
Video Awards (40 works):
Grand Prize (1): ¥50,000
First Prize (3): ¥20,000 each
Second Prize (6): ¥10,000 each
Third Prize (10): ¥5,000 each
Selected Works (20): ¥3,000 each
Additional Incentives:
Photos published on Dunhuang International Cultural Communication Center’s overseas platforms: ¥100/single, ¥300/group (4+ images).
Videos: ¥500 each.
All winners receive certificates, which count toward Gansu Photographers Association membership eligibility.
