As an important historical site on the Silk Road, Yumenguan is not just a static ruin. Instead, through the reconstruction of cultural scenes, the upgrading of immersive experiences, and the optimization of overall services, it has built a new "touchable history" tourism ecosystem and is fully promoting the creation of a national 5A-level tourist attraction.
Immersive Experience - Making Millennium-Old Culture Accessible
To enable tourists to have a deeper understanding of Silk Road culture, a themed research project "Appreciate Silk Road Culture, Tour Millennium Yumenguan" has been carefully created. The research venues have been newly upgraded, equipped with professional research facilities and more than 200 sets of exquisite Hanfu. Special activities such as writing bamboo slips of the Han Dynasty, tasting Han-style meals, and enjoying Han dances have been launched. For tourists of different age groups, specially designed age-specific research courses have been prepared, allowing every visitor to deeply experience the profound heritage of history and culture.

To enhance the tourist experience, Yumenguan has comprehensively optimized its infrastructure. In terms of transportation facilities, the parking lot has been re-planned, internal roads have been renovated, and 4 sets of charging piles have been added to ensure the convenience of tourists' travel. In terms of service facilities, the restrooms have been upgraded and renovated according to star standards, equipped with third restrooms and barrier-free facilities. At the same time, functional areas such as driver and tour guide lounges, baby care rooms, infirmaries, and cultural and creative stores have been improved, providing tourists with one-stop services such as convenient consultation, rest, and shopping.

In the process of promoting the creation of 5A-level scenic spot, Yumenguan has actively explored new paths for integrating culture and tourism. Eight new creative check-in spots have been added, attracting more than 1,000 visitors to take photos every day and becoming new internet-famous landmarks. Interactive activities such as "pass documents" and poetry challenge competitions are deeply loved by tourists, allowing them to feel the charm of culture in fun. More than 30 kinds of cultural and creative products such as bamboo slip bookmarks and beacon tower models make culture "portable". Special projects such as self-service stamping machines and poetry camel carts have added a strong cultural atmosphere to the tourist area, making the millennium-old history touchable and perceivable.
